Thai pop diva Tata Young's hit single “I Believe” was selected as the official song of the 2007 Asian Cup.

Tata, who started her singing career after winning a nationwide talent contest at the age of 11, has sold millions of copies of the single across Asia.

The 26-year-old will perform the song ahead of the opening match in Bangkok on July 7. Tata, who has sold more than 12 million albums worldwide, is part of the new wave of Asian talent which has made its mark internationally, performing in the United States and wooing adoring fans in key markets like India and Japan.

She was featured on the cover of Time magazine in a study of successful Eurasians and was named one of the 100 sexiest women in the world by FHM magazine this year.
